Make Some Holiday $$$: Lindsay Mom2Mom Sale Christmas Edition

I have just started working on a series of weekly posts on how to earn some extra cash for the holidays. One fabulous way is to destash some of your gently used items (especially kids clothing and toys). There are many ways to do this including a Mom2Mom sale. The bonus to a sale such as this is that it is high traffic and so you can unload ALOT of items in a short amount of time without having to juggle babies on your hip while you try to take pictures of your items and post them on an online buy and sell site (which does have its advantages too but that's a later post). Also proceeds from the sale (admission and table fees) go towards helping a great cause.

I'm happy to announce that there will be a Christmas Edition of the Lindsay Mom2Mom Sale to be held on November 10th from 930-1230 at the Lindsay Boys and Girls Club. Mom Tables for selling gently used clothing and toys are $10 each and if you are a local artisan there are also vendor spots available for just $35. Your table fee also includes lunch (pizza and pop) for one person. Spaces are limited so be sure to contact the show organizer ASAP if you are interested in a space. Easter Fun: Register Your Kids for the Easter Egg Hunt!

As many of you know the Easter Edition of the Lindsay Mom to Mom Sale will be held on April 7th from 10-1 at the Victoria Park Armoury.

 In addition to the sale Baby Bum Cakes and The Boys and Girls Club of Kawartha Lakes will be organizing an Easter Egg Hunt at Victoria Park! The actual hunt will take place between 1230-130 but be sure to drop by the sale before hand for a little shopping and other Easter activities.

Cost of the Egg Hunt is $2+a non-perishable food item donation per child. The food donation will get you admission to the Mom2Mom sale and the $2 can be paid at the Easter Egg Hunt registration table in the main hall at the Armoury.

You can pre-register your child/children prior to the event here and payment can be made the day of the hunt at the registration table. Should it rain the day of the event please be sure to check the website for updates.
